Bethel Woods
Learning about the history of Woodstock and its impact on anti-war protest and hippie culture was fascinating, and I enjoyed the documentaries about the bands playing and how they tried to convey their messages. Click here to see my reflection.

Rosh Hashanah 2025
Participating in a Rosh Hashanah celebration with the Jewish community of West Hartford was an eye opening experience into Jewish tradition, celebration, and the religion as a whole. It was very nice to see so many people come together.

UConn Human Rights Summit
Seeing experts talk about how human rights and sports are intertwined opened my eyes to the reality of sports as a symbol of politics, and I enjoyed asking questions about soccer in relation to human rights. I even got a signed copy of Soccer Under the Swastika! Click here to see my reflection.

Mexico/US Ambassador Talk
Hearing the Mexican ambassador talk about the relationship between the two countries from a Mexican perspective was very cool, and I learned lots of new things, like how the majority of fentanyl smuggled into the US from Mexico is brought by Americans in the first place or how he doesn't have a lot of power in the US political system.
